Had a small party involving large quantities of rum the other night, and woke the next day to find an anonymous contribution of vomit on the arm of my couch.
I got rid of the solid stuff and the stain, no problem–no fun, but no problem–but I can’t get rid of the odor. I’ve tried scrubbing, Lysol-type disinfectant, that Nature’s Orange natural-type stuff, and Febreze. Still no luck. It’s been three days.
Any suggestions? Thanks, y’all!
What you need is an enzymatic digester (sounds gross). I work for a chemical distribution company that sells this stuff. It does work! It’s basically engineered bacteria
that eats organic material (urine, vomit, etc). After it’s one it’s thing, the bacteria die off and the smell is eliminated. You can find it at any wholesale chemical distributor. The one we sell is called “Nature’s Solution” and is made by National Chemical Labs.

Try bicarbonate of soda, or even plain old table salt…they will absorb any ‘residue’ and hopefully take away the pong at the same time.
