I just had to share this. I haven’t laughed this hard in, well, since the Make Me Laugh Thread. Imagine for a moment the innocent and eager couple, maybe even their dog, arriving at this open house. Excitedly they walk through the front door. Ah, the entry is spacious and open and a corner fireplace adds a nice touch. Let’s move into the living room now shall we? How elegant! The decor is pleasant, a fireplace adds warmth to the room while the window provides light and…a nice view into the backyard.

Now do the tour.

What? Did you leave the car window down? Hark!! What dogs through yonder window hump!? Is not this the neighbor’s Fifi standing there doggedly whilst your Rover throws her a bone?

I always imagine comical captions on things, so what would your caption be for this one? One is my title, but here’s another:

  • Dear Chuck, please make sure Loretta has those uber-glasses on next time while photographing the property. And reviewing the pre-production photos. And scanning them into the computer. And posting them on your website. And testing the website. And listing it with MLS.

I’d like to believe this is an actual real estate site, because that just makes it even more hilarious. But if it’s a joke, it’s a good one. I haven’t got the courage to call the numbers or email them because I’m afraid they’d take it down!!!

The web site looks authentic, other than it’s a little odd that it’s a British (btinternet) URL for a California website.

Well, here’s the reason a California realtor is on a British URL…this was real, a week or so ago. This is an archived version, because the original was quickly taken down and the dogs smudged out. I forget who posted about it here, and the search function is reeeeeally slow at the moment, but the title of the thread was “Third Photo Down.”
