Here’s a line from a GQ “I’m guessing “K” program is a 5-letter word with more than its fair share of the letter “a” that we’re not supposed to discuss here.” I am confused- this is a rule I have never heard of.
Some past discussions of K in General Questions:
Can you use potassium salt in water as a potassium supplement
Why do potassium supplements contain such a small amount of potassium
Does tampico orange drink have any potassium in it
How much potassium is in a fig newton?
(sorry, I couldn’t resist)
Besides, discussions of Kafka should be in Cafe Society.
But discussions of karma would likely go in Great Debates.
Okay.

Well, sure, that’s reasonable. But it would appear that a discussion about whether or not that particular program was causing problems would be OK, right? :smack: And mentioning just the NAME isn’t a no-no, right?
No. We do not permit discussion of specific file sharing programs and/or problems caused by them.
It isn’t a no-no per se, but if you’re going to ask questions pertaining to any specific file-sharing program, again that’s discouraged.
What we do allow is general discussion of the issues surrounding file-sharing, etc.
Would it be permitted to ask “I’m trying to permanently remove Kazaa and all it’s spyware - how do I do that?”
Good question. I suppose so, yes. Provided no extraneous information is offered about Kazaa or its variants.
