I got suspicious earlier, when I did not receive an automated e-mail I was expecting. I took a nap, hoping that the problem – if there was one – would sort itself out. Nope. Not receiving e-mail.
I got onto Earthlink’s live chat window to see what’s up. Seems to be some sort of problem with their server, and it could take 24-72 hours to resolve. I have the e-mail address that I set up for my mom, but I still won’t get anything sent to my address. E-mail forwarding seems to also be down.
My job alerts (which I use to try to find a job) won’t reach me. People who just want to send me e-mails won’t reach me. It’s a real bottomer!

Is that just incoming email? I have Earthlink, and I just sent some emails. It said they’ve been sent–I hope they get there!
On the bright side, I don’t have to worry about my mailbox getting full while I’m out of town and can’t check my email this weekend!
I’m on netcom, which is an Earthlink domain. I can send e-mails, but I’m not receiving them.
This is what I did: I e-mailed myself from Netscape Communicator. Did not receive it, either in my inbox or at Earthlink’s Web Mail. I e-mailed myself from Earthlink’s Web Mail page. Did not receive it, either in Web Mail or on my computer. I sent mail from my mom’s e-mail address, and did not receive it either place. I sent mail to my mom’s e-mail address from my netcom address, and I did receive it.
