To be fair, their burgers are pretty good.
“Like”
I hear they are kosher.
HA! Nice.
This. My thought exactly. Ironically, the practice devalues the very concept it’s built upon, i.e., that the more people that “like” things the better it is. There might have been close to a one-to-one correlation between the two prior to Facebook, but no more. "Liking something has been cheapened, and is being further cheapened every day.
LinkedIn is in a similar quandary. Not long ago, if someone endorsed you for say, accounting, that meant something. But now that LinkedIn solicits endorsements for it members and all one has to do is click the “endorse” box, the whole concept of endorsement is devalued. Especially when people endorse me for things that I never even listed as skills that I have. The are related skills, but some I have zero proficiency in. Yet, people have endorsed me for all manner of things that I have zero proficiency in.
The LinkedIn endorsements drive me crazy, because otherwise I find the site to be a valuable networking tool. With no rules about who can endorse you for what, they’re completely meaningless.
Some people like and repost everything they see. If you’re a true friend, you’ll copy and repost this message to everyone you know. 97% of people won’t even bother to read through this message, but 3% will. I’ll use this to see who my true friends are.
People who post Facebook chain letters should be kicked in the balls over and over and over again.
I despise those!!
Please copy and paste this as your status if you know someone, or have heard of someone who knows someone that may know someone who knows anyone. If you don’t know anyone, or even if you’ve heard of anyone who doesn’t know anyone that doesn’t know someone, then still copy this. It’s important to spread the message. Oh, and the hearts. <3 <3 <3 For crap’s sake, don’t forget the hearts. <3 <3 <3
I agree completely.
I agree!
Lol
