No Joker for third Batman movie

You’re out of your mind! Two-Face was not even remarkable.

Aaron Eckhart was great as Harvey Dent and Two-Face. I was much more into his performance than Ledger as the Joker.

Was it because he thought about the future?

I’m not sure if I’d agree that Ledger’s performance couldn’t be topped. I’d like to see a (younger) Christopher Walken, but now that he’s already played his cards, I guess I’d like to see Woody Harrelson give the role a go. (Yeah, I know - call me crazy  )

Although, if they did manage to cast the Joker role, I’d like to see Gillian Jacobs in the role of Harley Quinn.

It’s late. I’ll be in my bunk.

I laughed.

While Harley would be awesome to see, I don’t think putting the same villain in back-to-back movies would have been a good idea anyways. Don’t you find those sequels where they do that to be annoying?

Normally you’d be right.

But they could have made all three of the films about Heath Ledger’s Joker and I would have eaten it up.

I still say the best way to handle Batman 3 is to make have the city hire Bane to hunt down the now fugitive Batman while The Dark Knight is off investigating a surge in gang violence thanks to guns from a “fishy” gangster. Bane’s intelligent, he’s big, he’s scary. It would be a good match. And it leaves the Penguin where he belongs, as a sideshow.

Kristen Bell is allegedly interested in playing Harley. I myself would love to see Alyson Hannigan in the role.

Just as Batman Begins foreshadowed The Joker as the next villian, TDK foreshadowed Catwoman. That’s who it’s gotta be.

No. Please, God. No.

OK, I missed it. How did Dark Knight foreshadow that it would be Catwoman. Especially since the director has not committed to any villain yet(officially, that is, his brother is already writing the movie).

Patrick Stewart IS Egghead.

Wow. That’s some serious nerd fan-service if either of them gets the role. Of course, they both kick ass as actors too, so it could definitely work.

In-joke does not equal foreshadowing.

Bruce Wayne: How will it [his new suit] hold up against dogs?
Lucius Fox: We talking Rottweilers or Chihuahuas? Should do fine against cats.

Foreshadowing or just a sly reference to Catwoman? It could work either way.

Forgive my inexact quote from memory, but I think Jack Nicholson said of the Joker that the costume did all the acting. That being the case, I say just replace the late Mr. Ledger with another actor and go on with it.

Despite what Nicholson said, that is not the case.

I want Michael C. Hall as the Riddler. That is all.

Two words:

Jason. Voorhees.

Scoff away. Deep down, you know you’d watch it.

So YOU’RE the one who put that brilliant idea in my head.

That would actually be really quite creepy.
