From certain angles JGL looks a lot like Heath Ledger, in my opinion.
Yeah, after Ledger’s death a lot of fans talked about JGL being a possible replacement as Joker since he does look similar to Ledger. Looks like that’s out, but he might get to be Riddler. I think he’s a great actor and I’d by happy to see him (as any character) in the next Batman movie.

Maggie Gyllenhaal as catwoman. Say they never found her body after the explosion. Maybe she has amnesia, maybe she’s psycotic, maybe she’s both. She knows Bruce is Bats, blames him for Harvey’s death (cause she doesn’t know he lived), and she torments him for it. Everywhere he goes he sees her, every time he’s out he hears her. She’s on a crime spree just to get close to him in costume and beat the crap out of him.

Except they did find her body. Batman pried her engagement ring off of her charred finger and gave it to Harvey.

Or Sister Zero (new villain in Gotham City Sirens - the book Catwoman is currently headlining in) - Selina’s sister comes out of a long period of catatonia, goes nuts, blames Catwoman (but not Selina!) for her misfortunes (which are mostly at the hands of Black Mask), decides she has to die.
…I don’t remember that. Batman gave Harvey the double sided coin that she had on her but I don’t recall any ring…

Who said she was wearing the ring when the warehouse blew up? 
Assuming she had the ring and the coin on her, maybe the Joker just stole those items and switched her out for some other mook to take her place. I could see him going through the trouble of switching out teeth (or even just falsifying dental records) to make them think it was really her, JUST to fuck with everyone.
If they can switch Katie Holmes to Maggie Gyllenhal and expect us to buy into that being the same person, they can just cast Maggie as Selina/CW- perhaps make some reference to the resemblance, and leave it at that.
