New rant: due to the extreme conditions that my vacuum has been under since Sunday, it has gone to the other side. I mean, it was 10 years old and it had done good duty but this house did it in.
So why don’t I just use the owners’ vacuum? After taking a look, I decided that it was worth it to shell out money now for a new one of my own.
Every day I find something new that grosses me out.
My poor vacuum. May you rest in peace.
So … apparently now I have diabetes.

Type I or II?
Not so horribly bad with type II, depending on your insurance and such. I made minor changes to my diet, try (and fail) to get more exercise, and my numbers are completely manageable.
Ah, that reminds me of a summer job in my college days. Cleaning/rehabbing crappy homes between renters. My favorite were the people who left 5 gallon buckets of shit in the basement (7 as I recall). They were pretty crusted over but once pitched into the dumpster watch out! Amazing the things we’ll do for minimum wage.
Biggirl, did you get suckered into buying the crappy stuff readily available in the cough and cold aisle, or did you go to the pharmacy for “the good stuff” that actually works? Makes an ENORMOUS difference.

I’ve started sleeping with a Breathe Right strip on (adhesive strips that go on the outside of your nose and hold your nose a little more open).
I’m sleeping much better because I CAN MOVABUCKIN BREEF!

Breathing is right at the top of my to-do list.
Even if you usually shower or bathe in the morning, try taking a long steamy shower right before you go to bed. Sometimes this is enough to get things unclogged. It really does need to be a shower, and you should stay in it until the hot water heater is empty. Hang the hot water bill, breathing is important. Besides, this is a matter of life and death. Not YOURS, but your family’s. If you can’t breathe, you might get…cranky. And you might have to kill someone. And then you couldn’t post from jail.

If your insurance will cover it, try to get into a diabetic education class, even if you don’t need insulin. There’s all sorts of things you have to do differently now.

Wow…there’s a certain thread on here where people have really different views than me. Political views. And it’s not even in GD… I sometimes feel I should stay out of that thread, but I feel compelled to keep returning. Can’t really express my displeasure in that thread, so I’m saying it here.

Baby can’t talk yet. Have you considered asking other nursing mothers if they’ve had the same experience? It wouldn’t seem that the baby should have to work harder on one nipple than the other.
OTOH, maybe you’re producing chocolate milk on that side, and the baby is just REALLY eager to get at it.
More seriously, perhaps you could look into whether you’ve got blockage on one side.
Sure as fuck feels like that.
Both sides are tender, but I think I’ve cracked on this side because she quite often gets gas pains when she’s on that side and writhes.
