NORWALK, Connecticut (AP) – Thomas G. Yohe, the creative force behind
television’s Emmy-winning “Schoolhouse Rock” cartoons, which set
educational messages to catchy music, has died of cancer. He was 63.

Expect Bob Dorough (his musical partner) to expire of liver failure any minute as well (he may have already as far as I know).

Dorough was traveling the college radio circuit about five years ago promoting “School House Rock: Live”. The guy showed up plenty toasted and reeking of liquer. He was really looking pretty rough and his nose looked like a veiny potato.

He was polite enough though and played “Conjunction Junction” and “I’m just a Bill” on his little Casio keyboard without missing a note.
