No racism intended

One of the great tragedies that occurred due to our blundering Government’s way of dealing with Cuba, is that we’ve missed out on incredible music from that country…

Not that there isn’t enough good Latin music, but Cuba had some amazing sounds in teh 50’s.

The Latin Grammys don’t bother me for the reason in the OP, but they did have a distinct lack of good Latin music in th moments that I caught. I do love Santana, and Espinada Corazon (sp?), but not much more was too exciting.

Better next time I hope.

Adios!

Of course they do. That’s because these people are African American Country Music Artists. They sing country music, why wouldn’t they be allowed?

Of course the CMA allows black people. If they sing country music, why wouldn’t they be allowed?

I think the songs should have to be in Latin to qualify for the new show. Don’t the real Grammys have a Latin music category?
> there is an “Anglo Grammys.” It’s called the Grammys.

So that’s why no nonwhite artists are included? Santana, Christina Aguilera, Lenny Kravitz, Whitney Houston, Barry White, all winners from last year, are now considered Anglo? That’s quite a wide definition.

Maybe there is a debate in here somewhere and I’m missing it. Man, I hate it when that happens and I can’t be contradictory.

No, you don’t.

(There, does that help?)
