It was a really tough decision–a preseason Buffalo Bills game was on at the same time…
I saw the first but missed this one. It just seemed like it swelled to new levels of hype and absurdity. The cameos were ridiculous. Everyone was “oh I want in this deliberately bad movie!”.
My feeling about the first one was pretty much it felt like it was deliberately written and filmed to be as terrible as possible. Wheras most so bad they’re good movies are intended to be good films but through problems, budgets, unskilled people, etc, wind up being unintentionally funny. Sharkanado was designed from the start to be a bad movie, or a so good its bad movie, and that just kind of kills the vibe for me.
The second one is basically an amplified version of the first. Not interested.
My wife, however, seems to quite enjoy the films. Which is cool, but they just don’t appeal to me.
