Even if we were to take the devil’s advocate position that any peace in Gaza would be an improvement, and Trump should be rewarded for it, it simply hasn’t happened.
Right now we have - what does he call it? Hints of an inkling of an idea of a plan? I hope it works, but it’s just too soon to say.

If Trump had been awarded the prize, it might as well have been abolished, as it would have lost all meaning and respect. Everything Trump touches dies. This does refer to the Nobel Prize too.

The prize is pretty tainted – Obama didn’t deserve it when he won it. He seemed to have won it because he was the first Black president of the US and he wasn’t GWB.
Didn’t Kissinger win it? That guy was, if anything, anti-peace.
But, the idea that Trump, who routinely threatens to invade sovereign land, is sending troops into his own cities, and who is hell-bent on destroying the environment would ever get it is ludicrous. I can’t believe MAGA thought he had a chance.

I know it’s probably comforting to believe that anyone the Nobel Peace Prize committee likes must be the antithesis of Trump, but no, they’ve been aligned for a long time. For example, here is what she had to say about Trump’s drone strikes on Venezuelan ships:
