Tony Danza had a TV show?
I think it was called “The Tony Danza Show” and I think he played a guy named Tony.
I’m pretty sure that was “Taxi.”
No, no. It was “Who’s the Boss?”
I’m so confused.
Did you know he once played a character not named Tony? No really.
Jim
In Crash, his character’s name is Fred.
(it was only a joke) Sorry.
Whoosh.
I know.
Danza, or his career?
Rachel Ray with yet another television show? Where’s the vomit smiley?
With any luck, adding this show will cause her to drop from exhaustion.
Why did you bring that up?
Surprised it took that long to get that smarmy show cancelled.
I sometimes watch Rachel Ray…but her “30 minute” meals can only be prepared in 30 minutes if you have a staff of 23 helping you out in the kitchen - plus, you usually need to buy about $55 worth of spices (that you will never use again) to make her recipes. Still - she is a lot easier to watch and listen to than Danza!
Actually, the only really good daytime show is Ellen.
I guess it’s too late for my thread I’ve been thinking about for months now:
“Who’s the worse talk show host, Tony Danza or Martha Stewart?”
Probably because it was mentioned in the OP.
I’m sad now… The Soup won’t be able to make fun of him anymore.
There will always be work for him on Logo.
I like Rachael’s recipes, and I have most of the 30MM cookbooks. (Most of them can be done in 30 minutes provided you already have all the ingredients and you took the time to prepare them–washing produce, etc.–when you got them home.)
I should also say that I would totally, as they say, hit that, as long as Giada de Laurentis wasn’t available.
But her own non-food-related talk show? I’d rather watch Tony Danza. And you should see the list of things I’d rather do than watch Tony Danza’s talk show.
I think the fact that Danza made it to a second season is a small victory. I know I certainly wrote him off as an everybody-in-Hollywood-thinks-he-can-host-a-talk-show poser when his show debuted.
My thoughts exactly.
