Nobody wants you in Buffalo.

Attention Army of God,

I hope that tomorrow morning you all wake up covered in boils which are being devoured by locusts, and when you attempt to take a shit, realize you have a frog crammed up your ass.

Oh, and something about cattle dying.

Nobody wants you here in Buffalo. Why? Because you are a militant, violent “pro-life” group. I can’t believe that you’d go on the morning newscast and say that what James Kopp* did was right, because it was a “selfless” and “sacrificial” act to “protect the innocents.” I’m sorry. I thought that sitting in someone’s yard and then shooting him execution style was cowardly! I thought that murdering someone was, say… inconsistent with your supposed moral code.

“The stopping of murder is not wrong, even when lethal means are used.”

Oh, silly me.

And you want to support that cowardly goat-felching bastard. Listen to me. No rational person supports the use of what amounts to terrorism to stop abortion.

“James Kopp is not in jail for greed, anger or lust.”

No, he’s in there for being a murderer, and maybe if you’d seek medical attention for that nasty cum clot that blocking the blood flow to your brain you’d realize that.

*James Kopp, of course, is the confessed killer of Buffalo abortion provider Dr. Barnett Slepian, but he claims it’s not murder because he was preventing abortion. This act has, of course, been universally condemned by both the pro-life and pro-choice communities.

Why stop at the abortion doctors? Shouldn’t they also hunt down and kill those responsible for the death penality?

Those prosecutres, witnesses, defence attorneys, judges, wardens and governors are all committing murder.

Because, any means should be used when preventing a murder, and I’m pretty sure a lot of people on death row don’t want to die.

Isn’t that an inaccurate extrapolation of their beliefs? They label a certain behavior as unjust killing, and are willing to use killing to (purportedly) fight it. Not exactly new, and definitely not equivalent to “all killing is wrong, all the time.”

I saw the thread title and thought, “Hey, now, there’s no reason to treat the Bills like that!”

Well, I would much rather these folks were in Buffalo than Calgary…

d&r

Sorry about the nonjuiciness of this rant. I attribute it to two factors:

  • It was early and I was precaffeinated.
  • Now, really, who’s going to argue with me and say that the Army of God is right to use terrorist methods to fight abortion?

And alice, you know as well as I do that the Bills would find a great home in Calgary.

As you probably have heard from the Buffalo news orgs, Ace, the “Army” (no way can you call this rag-tag bunch o’ fuckers a real army) of “God” (I’m sure Jesus never once said “Blessed are those who kill people they don’t agree with”) is also apparently threatening the Western New York gay community. Gay leaders were interviewed last night on some of the TV stations and were very concerned about their safety during the protests.

This is an organization that is advocating violence, and has aided and abetted Kopp. Last time I heard, actions like that were the hallmarks of terrorist groups. Let’s see if the “war on terrorism” lifts a finger against them.

In the UB Spectrum (student newspaper), there was a photo of one of the Army of God preachers with a sign that said, “KILL A BABY (not sure about this part, but words to that effect… and I remember the second part vividly) CALL A KOPP.”

Fucking reprehensible.

Although, luckily, it doesn’t seem like anything realyl went down.

God bless an ambient temp of 6 degrees F.

Close enough, Ace, it’s “Save a baby…” The picture also appears in today’s Buffalo News. Asshat on parade

And, hey, Army of God, murder and homophobia not enough for ya, you have to dabble in anti-Semitism too?

Can we think of any other organizations that espouse violence and hatred of “others” in the US? Hmmm…
