The NBA’s New Orleans Hornets are expected to play at least 30 of their “home” games at the Ford Center in OKC.
Rumor only so far, just this moment mentioned on Channel 4 (KFOR) during the Noon news broadcast.
Will be interesting to see how it works out. OKC has been wanting a major pro franchise from some sport for a while now. Basketball or hockey always looked like the best bets for what people around here might support. I seriously doubt any MLB or NFL team would find the million + city, 3 million + state to be a big enough base, but you never know.
If OKC does get the temp relocation of the NOH, I’ll be there for about half of the games, I’ll tell you whut!
