Non-animated TV shows where the characters wear the same thing all the time

You are right, of course. I think if I were in that situation I might wander into a bridal shop and pick out a nice tux to wear for a while.
mmm

Kate and Shannon had lots of wardrobe changes on Lost. Salvaged luggage. Sawyer had a few changes. We’re Netflix ing it right now. My wife even commented that the women must be salvaging unclaimed baggage to have so many clothes.

I Dream of Jeannie of course had the genie outfit, but of course she rocked minis too.

Matlock may be the best example.

Hee Haw had quite a few characters who always wore the same outfit- Junior Samples, the doctor, Nurse Goodbody, etc.

But, of course, never wander into a gun shop or armory for something more effective than Grampa’s deer rifle.

Actually, isn’t there a scene in an early season where a character gets splattered, pulls a new shirt off a store rack… and then gets splattered again about ten minutes on?

Jeannie got to wear modern styles frequently, but weren’t Tony and Roger in uniform most of the time? They did get to wear civvies from time to time, but they did spend most of their time at work at NASA.

I think the characters wore the same clothes pretty much all the time in “Leave it to Beaver” and “Barney Miller” and “Beverly Hillbillies”. Probably “The Munsters”, too, but I didn’t watch that much. So did Archie and Edith Bunker, but other cast members varied. Shows where men ore business suits (Perry Mason, Dragnet. etc.) the main characters would wear indistinguishable standard dress suits and ties of the day.

IIRC, Al Bundy wore the same outfit to work everyday.

Schneider the handyman on the original One Day At A Time always wore a toolbelt and a white t-shirt under a blue vest.

The cast of Land of the Giants. Well, the little people anyway.
Captain Steve Burton & Don Erickson wore their uniforms.
Betty Hamilton wore he stewardess uniform
Wealthy Mark Wilson wore a black vest
Socialite Valerie Scott wore a “mod” skirt and boots
Little boy Barry Lockridge wore simple shirt and pants
Alexander B. Fitzhugh wore a tie (don’t know why he never took it off)
And the dog… well, he was naked

Darryl’s had several different outfits in the current season. He even spent a some time buck naked.
