Non-school-specific class rings?

I will be graduating and finally getting my degree in December. This is a big deal to me and the idea of a “class ring” sort of thing to commemorate it appeals to me, especially with the newer styles of class ring that are out that don’t look so huge and clunky*. The thing is, though, that to get this degree I’ve been to a total of 6 colleges, and when I graduate, will have only done one Spring, Summer, and Fall semester here (Cleveland State) and so I really don’t feel any particular “woohoo alma mater” thing for the school I’m graduating from.

I’d rather have a class ring that was about the year, degree, and my major, without mentioning the school. Is there a company out there that does this kind of thing? (And yes, I’m aware I could just go get any ring and have something engraved on it, but it’s not the same.)

*stuff like this, this, or this for example.

How about this? They offer a lot of customized text options.

I knew a guy in high school that bought a bunch of no-school class rings. Unless you looked at it very carefully it was impossible to tell. They had all the design engraved on them, and had either a dark red or maroon “school color” stone on them. Just didn’t have a school mentioned on them. Other than that they looked and felt authentic.

I don’t recall what he paid but it had to be very cheap as he had several. You wouldn’t believe how many girls thought they were going steady with him because he gave them his “class ring”. Like playing Russian roulette with 6 bullets!

That of course was way back in the 70’s, but somebody must make them still.

I just went to the Jostens site – they have some unique ladies rings that, AFAICT, are not required to have the school name on them. This one is pretty, IMHO.

Cool, the “Wisteria” design on Jostens is pretty much the same ring as the first one I linked to…

Maybe it’s just my browser, but even though the URLs are all different, they all link to http://ww2.balfour.com/college/rings.aspx

you may have to go through the “pick a college” part (just choose any of them) and then the links should work.
