Non-U.S. films w/ water-related themes

The college I work at is planning a festival of international (non-U.S.) films with related to the theme of water. So far, we’re planning to show “Whale Rider,” “Drowned Out,” “Los Amantes del Circulo Polar,” and possibly “The Secret of Roan Inish” (maybe not strictly international, since it was directed by John Sayles, but a darn good film). I’m looking for any other suggestions that folks might have. Thanks!

The original Swept Away… (Lina Wertmuller)

Dead Calm, with Nicole Kidman and Sam Neill.

Dark Water, by Hideo Nakata (Ringu, as well as the upcoming The Ring Two).

Atlantis and The Big Blue, both by Luc Besson.

This may not be entirely water-related, and the water in it is generally frozen, but Atanarjuat - The Fast Runner is another option.
