Non-US Dopers: which forwarding address?

I’ve considered many times getting one of those forwarding address thingies the US has for items which I want to purchase but which the seller won’t post internationally.

I’ve never got very far with this because there seem to be so many. So, what service have you used? What do you recommend and is there a forwarding service you’d strongly suggest I stay away from?

I’ve found what I want to buy for my husband for Christmas but he’s officially The Hardest Person in the World To Buy For and the item I’ve found can’t be shipped here.

Thanks for any suggestions/recommendations.

You mean forwarding service, not forwarding address; may want to ask for a title change.

I’ve tried Price USA, I prefer Shipito (you can purchase yourself rather than ask them to do it, lots more shipping options and the fees are reasonable). Shipped perhaps 10-15 times and never had issues.

Yes, you’re right. Thank you. I don’t think I’ll bother requesting a title change, however. There’ve been several hundred views of this thread, so I’m guessing those people have got the gist of what I was clumsily asking but not many Dopers appear to use such a service.
