Nopalitos

I have a jar of nopalitos in the cupboard. Last time I cooked with nopalitos I just made them with sliced-up steakage and made tacos out of them.

Any other ideas? I’m thinking of a lunch/dinner thing, rather than an egg (breakfasty) dish.

There are two kinds as far as I know: pickled and not pickled.
The not pickled my mom uses anywhere you would use green beans. She made a stew and they were a nice addition.
Nopalitos with ham and onions is a nice combo.

I have a recipe for sauerkraut soup that I think would taste good with the pickled nopalitos in place of the sauerkraut, but I haven’t tested yet.
