If anyone has Northern Exposure DVD’s, which season has the episode with Cicely and Roslyn (the legend of the beginning of the town)? I want to get it for my girlfriend for her birthday. Does anybody have the 1st 4 seasons bundled set? Is it worth getting?
I tried to find episode lists, but I’m not finding it on IMDB and Amazon’s list seems iffy.

I have seasons 1-5 on DVD. In my opinion seasons 3 & 4 are by far the best seasons of the series. I find myself watching those discs more than any others. I haven’t decided if I’ll buy season 6. It is the season where Joel is replaced - and I really don’t like how the writers handled the situation. But since I have the other 5 seasons I’m sure I’ll go ahead and get it. If I had to pick only one season I’d pick season 4. I know that Cicely is the “award-winningest” episode of the series but I’m not really fond of that particular episode.
Seoul Mates–the “Christmas” episode–is also in Season 3. I bought Cicely & *Seoul Mates * on VHS. Haven’t invested in DVD’s yet–but it’s good to know that two of my favorites are in the same season.
