Norton Antivirus 2005 vs. Windows firewall

So, I just upgraded from Norton 2003 to Norton 2005. The new version has some sort of Worm protection thing, that it says works better if I disable my Windows firewall. That’s what Norton recommends I do. Is this a smart idea? Is this Norton worm blocker thing actually a firewall in and of itself? If not, then is not having a firewall activated going to cause me problems, even with Norton installed?

I have Windows XP (with SP2 installed), if that effects your answer.

From what I understand, when you try to install Norton’s 2005, it will try to kill the personal firewall. I’d allow it to do that, to install the AV, the turn it back on, or get another firewall, such as ZoneAlarm.
