“The world’s most beautiful voyage” is being broadcast for 134 hours, continuously, live from Norway. You can follow the ship online here:
They are about halfway thru the trip and stop at several islands along the way, greeted by brass bands and waving spectators.
The technology is amazing. They have multiple cameras on shore and on the ship, including one that appears to be below the bow that can be remotely controlled. The video can be viewed in real time, even full screen if your connection is fast enough, and you can rewind what you just saw and play it again. The audio is good, too.
Interesting video.
From the description of the ship, the last statistic line is the only one I understand.

If I were the organizers, I’d take offense at being called a “webcam.” This is a multiple-feed, HD site with all the bells and whistles that technology can offer for what looks like an infinite budget.
Do you have a fast Internet connection? Sometimes the feed halts for me, too, but I imagine they might have a bandwidth bottleneck.
No, but they have a compass rose in the upper left corner showing the ship’s orientation. And you can see the ship’s radar screen on another link. And the map is in real-time. Cool, hunh?

*Fart:15 *= Speed: 15 knots
There’s the old joke about the swede that got in a car accident in England. While describing to the police what happened, he said: “First there was a big fart, and then a terrible smell”.
Fart = speed and smell sounds like smäll, which is a loud sound like, for example, in a crash.
