Nostradamaus and George W Bush?

I received the following email from some idiot at work.

A Prediction by Nostradamus

In 1555, Nostradamus wrote:

  Come the millennium, month 12,
  In the home of greatest power,
  The village idiot will come forth
  To be acclaimed the leader.

Am I correct in assuming that it is completely without any basis in fact?

I thought I should check with the most knowledgeable group of people I have yet come across before making a complete fool of myself.

Funny, why is it we only see this prediction after Bush has won? This would have been at least somewhat more impressive had it been floating around when the election was still in doubt. It seems that Nostradamus, like all psychics, is much better at “predicting” things which have already happened.
