Not Cecil's Column, but Slug's drawing, this time

Here’s the link to the column, but I’m not worried about what the Perfect Master wrote, but what hath Slug drawn?

The guy listening to the tape recorder and looking at the photo looks like a wonderful parody of ole J. Edgar Hoover. Who’s the clown holding up the plagarized words? I want to say it’s Richard Nixon (notice the nose). Any clues?

I would suggest either congressman John Rooney, or the professor schmuck at Boston University who was the “first reader” on King’s thesis.

What I really want to know, is what’s the significance of the swimming monkey butt picture above the tape recorder?

No, wait, scratch that. I really probably don’t want to know that.

I noticed that, too… but didn’t want to say anything :frowning:

um, guys…monkey butt?

J. Edgar…obsession with MLK’s love life… butt, leg, skirt surrounding same

you do the math.

Oh, that’s a skirt? It looked like water, to me. And it really does look like a monkey.

Count the Toes. The Big Toe is NOT opposable.
Think 1930’s cartoons.

Let’s hear it for Slug for giving us something to talk about!

The face with the nose over the board looks kind of like Spiro Agnew to me… which would be a little out of time warp, I think?
