not exactly a porn site, thanks Dynosaur

I was tricked by a comedian on tv into putting “dynosaur” into google and guess what came up since he was talking about how putting dynasaur into one would return porn. I know I mistyped the word dynasaur the first time since I don’t spell well and the search showed me better. I am a priestess not a lexicon. Anyway The People of The Straight Dope Home page came up as the number one choice. I had been reading through the message board here often but I didn’t realize that it would reach into my life so much. Now if I were ever brave enough to start an “ask the…” thread to get my post count high enough to be respected.

A Demon Plaything

Beauty is evil for its manipulative practices.

I’m not really sure what you’re talking about here. I typed “Dynasaur” into Google and came up with a bunch of stuff about “Dr. Dynasaur.”
By the way:

A high post count isn’t neccesary for respect around here, in fact, there are some people with really high post counts that aren’t really respected that much…Just be yourself and try not to piss anybody off too bad

[sub]P.S. for the love of god don’t start another “ask the…” thread![/sub]

Ahem…my bad. I typed “Dynasaur.” I get it now

I thought it was odd. I didn’t guess my poor spelling and a random porn inspired search would lead me to the straightdope.

A Demon Plaything

Is Prometheus the precursor to Lucifer?

What would happen if you actually spelled dinosaur correctly? Or was the point that it was spelled “dynasaur” for this purpose? What’s going on? I’m confuzzled.

Cisco had it. I mispelled dynasaur as “dynosaur” and got the straight dope page of some kind. I respelled it “dynasaur” and got a bunch of doctor dynasaur things.

But why were you looking for “dynasaur” anyway? What does it mean?

And just think, any further searches for “dynasaur” will lead here too, since it’s already been said nearly 20 times.
