Food poisoning…oog. I had a really nasty attack of Campylobacter (sp?) last year, which I would not care to repeat for any amount of money. 104 degree fever and any food taking the express elevator out the other end (every flippin’ 20 minutes, too). I was not a happy bunny.
I recommend lots of water or diluted Gatorade even if you’re feeling better (but be warned that anything with a lot of citric acid or caffeine can irritate your system and make you feel worse – as will aspirin). If you start taking antibiotics, I also recommend eating yogurt to replenish some of the “happy” bacteria in your system. Or you could just eat the yogurt and let the good and bad bacteria slug it out…
