Is there a word or words to describe the chronically or habitually late? I’m looking for a few good nouns. There are numerous nouns for people who drink too much (lush, drunk, sot, ect) or for the lack of intelligence (idiot, moron, dummy, ect) But I can’t think of one noun for the non-punctual.
How about “latecomer”?
How about lollygagger? Or mugwump? Or you could go with the grade school teacher version, “tardies”. Running on Bahamas time.
I don’t think it’s in the OED, but “latenik” is a slang term for a chronically late individual.

Soon after I moved to SC, I wss meeting someone to run with at 6:30am, and he always arrived at 6:45. When I asked about this, he replied that when he said 6:30, he meant 6:45, so he wasn’t late.
