Novel Method of Film/Music Appreciation

Ever feel unequal to the task of deciding which actors, musicians etc you enjoy/don’t joy? Never fear, help is at hand!

Here is someone who feels able to hand out advice on whom to like/dislike in the entertainment industry. Of course, in his/her enthusiasm to list “patriotic” and “unpatriotic” entertainers, he/she, he seems happy to include quite a few who are not, to my knowledge, American.

Opinionated, yes, knowledgeable, no.

So right now I am wondering just what terrible things Jethro Tull, for example, have done to annoy this person/persons, and what, indeed Mike Oldfield has done to gain the PABAAH seal of approval.

Quite strange!

C’mon, how often do you get to see Norman Mailer and Al Sharpton cheek by jowl?

Can’t say I agree with the ideology of these loons one whit, but I think hating Jethro Tull because they suck massive ass is reason enough.

Now now - you mean you dare actually to make up your own mind?

(I suppose, though, that a few agricultural workers might have found themselves out of work cue to the invention of the seed drill. There is that)

I wonder why the “approved” list doesn’t warrant any pictures of the actors, while the “unapproved” list does.

I also wonder what one of my favorites, Tony Shalhoub (“Monk”) did to deserve being on the “unapproved” list. And what did another favorite of mine, Tom Berenger, do to get on the approved list? As far as I know, Berenger keeps a pretty low political profile. I have no idea what his politics are. (Neither do I with Shalhoub. Seriously, who cares?)

A bizarre site, indeed. All it did was show me that there’s a new David Duchovny movie out there. (They want me to boycott it, but instead, I’m thinking, “Cool! David Duchovny!” That plan of theirs sort of backfired.)

I wondered that too! Of course, when they include dead people on the “approved” list, they might not be looking their best by now.
