That was supposed to be my quit date. :frowning:

Still Smokin’
~Sarah

:: hands Silver a Nic Patch, some gauze, and a cd player ::

You can do it.

:: he says as he gets up to go take a smoke break ::

I haven’t been able to quit either.

All smokers are evil and should die horrid deaths and go straight to hell.
Especially since I’m out of smokes! Gaaagghhh!
I was smokin’ butts out of the ashtray last night, I was nic’n so bad…

Thanks, Sim. I suppose I’ll try Zyban again. Like it worked so well for me before. I know why I never quit though. It’s because, about a week before the 7th is when I started staying here (at my mom’s) a lot more. It’s pretty hard to quit when there’s at least 4 other people blowing smoke in your face.

Awww… Poor Demo! I hate when that happens. So you should just quit.

Okay, guys. Clearly we need another sponsor thread.

But we also need Silver to set a date. She’s told me she won’t start to stop the tenth. Or the 13th. So she’ll think about it.

In any case I volunteer for the third day (she doesn’t hate me near as much as she used to).

I should quit smoking, I know…

sigh…One of these days…

Taken from this thread:

Although that’s not 100% true, I don’t hate you, punha.

Okay, the reason I won’t quit on the 10th is because I plan to spend the 8th (my mom’s surgery date) chain smoking. So I can’t quit on the 13th either, because it’s not two weeks between the 8th and the 13th. Obviously. So I’m thinking that I’ll start taking the pills (Zyban, duh) on the 9th, (depending on how surgery goes) making my new quit date December 23, 2000, right? Yeah. WOO! Just in time for Christmas.

Quit? Quit?! Oh yeah, I quit–quit quitting, that is. November 7th was one of my many quit dates too. Alas…one of these days…

Yes, you should. nag nag Make it your goal for 2001. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. Try again, like I am now. No big deal. But, if it doesn’t work for me this time, I’m done. I’ll be a smoker for life. Sorry, guys.

See? If Silver and I can make up, anyone can!

Doob, Techie, I’m waiting for that friendly kiss . . .

I’m gonna insert a motherly nag in here too, like I do for my smoker friends IRL.

Anyway, I know you can do it, Silver. And good luck.
