Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 1)

OMG OMG OMG!!! They didn’t exclude FrankSocial! This could be just the break in the string of bad luck that Mike Lindell needs!

Too bad the Jeremy Renner app crashed so fast.

It’s pretty funny that the way that post was obviously assembled was:

Elmo wants to stop Mastodon promotion, composes tweet putting Mastodon and three others he has heard of in alphabetical order to make it less blatant that he’s just concerned about Mastodon. Minion points out that there are several others, Elon tells minion to add them to the tweet but the alphabetical order thing is forgotten.

Someone pointed out this tweet from June.

What “shady” stuff?
So far I’ve only seen requests from the Biden campaign to take down the the Hunter dick pics and requests from the Trump administration to take down . . . well they haven’t actually, AFAIA, revealed those.

One good thing about all this – it makes the Muskies on Facebook easy to spot and block.

Like you’d ever find Elon Musk in a CVS.

He is rapidly becoming like Trump in that there is always a tweet where he contradicts himself.

I believe that the FBI and DOJ also requested the takedown of posts deliberately giving false information regarding the election itself, such as incorrect dates and fake polling locations.

Apparently these actions constituted unacceptable governmental interference from the Biden Administration and Democrats, even though the Executive branch was in Republican hands at the time, and the directors of the FBI and DOJ at the time were hand-picked by Donald Trump.

Bad actors and foreign governments should be allowed to spread deliberate lies designed to damage democratic elections BECAUSE FREEDOM!

…as I said in another thread:

This is about as predictably unpredictable as you can get, LOL. And oh, so spectacular.

If Musk wants to be treated like a traditional publisher, Musk might get treated like a traditional publisher.

Well this should improve investor confidence.

Has Elmo created another poll where all the answers are actually the same answer?

“Yes” is currently at 57%.

He’ll be ticked if the bots that are supposed to generate enough “No” votes go offline.

I hope nobody interprets Musk’s poll to mean “I will hand over complete control of Twitter to someone you prefer, someone responsible.”

This is almost certainly a troll and a stunt that ends in @catturd2 being named puppet CEO of Twitter for a few weeks. Laughs all around.

Musk is not there to listen to your feedback or do your bidding. He’s there to entertain himself, and failing that, to annoy his detractors by acting stupid, petty, and irresponsible. His prime directive is to find out what people care about, and take a giant shit on it.

Turning Twitter into a flyblown moonscape won’t bother him at all. It was probably 2nd runner-up on his list of preferred outcomes. He probably thought there was a 90% chance of remaking Twitter to suit his own preferences, and 10% chance he’d ruin it and lose all his money. He’d have preferred the former; he’s fine with the latter.

He will lose, but do not deceive yourself into expecting him to yield or relent. He’ll go out as dirty as he possibly can.

I’m not so sure. Musk is under a lot of pressure from Tesla investors right now.

Meanwhile, he’s in Qatar palling around with oil tycoons.

I hope those guys are OK with him sharing their assassination coordinates.
