This was his advice to employees during his first companywide meeting since renaming Twitter to X: “In any given meeting, make sure there is at least one piece of bad news. You can have more than one piece of bad news. If you’re in a meeting with me, always bring up at least one bit of bad news or more than that.”
Don’t forget that in compliance with the wishes expressed in the poll he took, Elmo stepped down from being CEO. He’s no longer CEO, he’s now the “X man”:
Man, I feel sorry for Linda Yaccarino. She had a real career once.
The “Falcon Doors” on the model X were, continue to be, and will be failure points until you give that crap up; the Cyber truck is ugly and the exterior stainless steel is stupid from a dozen different points; full self driving is fake, will never happen in our/your lifetime; you should give your kids real names and, you know, actually meet them.
I’m not defending this guy, but I gotta ask: Didn’t Grimes have a say in the names of the kids? I know there was a time where Mom’s opinion was neither wanted nor needed for the names of their offspring. However, in these ultra modern, dare I say WOKE, times if both parents are involved at the time of births, both of them sign the birth certificate (whether long or short form.) When my kids were born both my husband and I were in agreement with names, and signed the document. I don’t think changes could be made without consent of one or the other.
Grimes is musician of sorts, isn’t she? Nobody expects her type to be sensible. Besides, Musk’s children from his other broodmares also have ridiculous names.
“Broodmares”? Seriously!? Ugh! I don’t know if she is expected to be sensible or not, but misogynistic attitudes, and stereotypes are right out in my opinion. She messed up getting involved with musk, the names are another issue.
Musk has 11 children from several women, some of them concurrently. That, along with his stated desire to populate the world with his superior (white) seed hints, to me, at his attitude toward the individuals who bear his children. It does not reflect my own beliefs.
If you’ve ever had the misfortune to read/hear anything Grimes ever had to say, then you know she’s exactly the same kind of full-of-shit, pompous pseudo-intellectual that Musk is. Possibly worse, because while at least Musk is partially grounded in real-world concerns like pretending to run 3 companies, Grimes has nothing but money and time to huff her own farts.
Not to worry. While I respect @Sylvanz’s desire to fight misogyny wherever it may lurk, I did not read your post as reflecting anything but Musk’s own doubtless objectionable attitudes.
