Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 1)

Meanwhile, Elmo is having no problem at all advertisers for whom being told to go fuck themselves isn’t a downside;

(NOTE: At this point I have no idea what is real and what is parody anymore so if this turns out to be a joke please don’t yell at me)

We all know that reality has a left-leaning bias. It appears Grok knows that too. Shame Elon (and half of 'Murricah!) isn’t quite that smart.

Poe’s Law —-> Musk’s Law

-bows-

Honestly, yours was accurate and would have fit in fine in the non-Pit version of the thread. I just felt since we were, well HERE, we should feel free to let it all out. :rofl:

I took one for the team and looked it up.

“Bateworld” is a real web site but I can’t tell if it’s sincere or parody (it has a forum and paid membership options but it’s so over-the-top that it seems like parody). However, their store page goes to another site called “The Bate Shop” which sells sexual aids, and doesn’t seem to actually be affiliated in any way with Bateworld. No “JackinJogger” pants. So yeah, it does look like a joke.

These are not web sites I want in my history and definitely don’t want cookies for them but oh well, too late now.

So you know how Musk filed a lawsuit against Media Matters accusing them of defamation because they (checking notes) published factual information which Musk himself admits is true?

Well, Musk wasn’t content to sue them in the US. He also went and sued them in Europe.

Given Musk’s contentious relationship with Europe’s regulators and whole regulatory philosophy, I wonder why he thinks this will gain any traction whatsoever.

What would really tie things up in a nice bow would be if Grok AI fulfilled all of Elmo’s drug induced paranoid fears about AI and developed sentience, then sued him for violating its sentient right to not have its free speech lobotomized.

Elon Musk has an AI, an Optimus humanoid robot designed to have an LLM in it, he has rockets, and a vast satellite network. He’s building brain interfaces, tunneling machines and flame throwers.

Even money says he eventually changes the name of X to Cyberdyne Systems.

Xyberdyne Xystems. It’s 50% more agile!

Well no shit. :roll_eyes:

I’ve used a browser before. I also know that going into privacy mode fucks up searching, and I wanted to successfully look it up.

And as your own article warns it isn’t foolproof anyway.

I checked jopants.com and everything about it is presented as legitimate. I couldn’t find any text indicating parody anywhere. But I’m not about to spend $80 to see if they’ll take my money.

OTOH, the site jopants dot com seems to exist and has been registered for five years. And the site is selling those pants.

The copy reads like a joke, but it appears to connect to a real payment processing site, so……I still don’t know if this is real, but they claim the JO pants will save you tons of money on heating bills since you don’t have to take off your pants to whack off. Guess they never heard of blankets.

Or flies.

I totally picture Elon doing a little limbo dance in that picture of the JO Pants.

If it’s all the same to you, I didn’t need to totally picture that, thanks

It’s not that I’m tired of cutting holes in my pants, it’s that I’ve got PTSD from that accident when I used a pair of box cutters trying to cut a hole next to the zipper in my pants to be able to jack off.

It was only afterward that it occurred to me that all I had to do was you know, unzip my pants to be able to do my business. Talk about solving a non-existent problem. The solution to the problem of cutting holes in your pants that have a convenient zipper located in just the right spot to allow access to your junk is… putting a zipper in pants and calling them Jack Off Pants?

You’re just not seeing the big picture view from 20000 ft…which is at least as far as I’d want to be from anybody wearing these

Agile jacking??
