Phrasing…
Sophie LaBelle is amazing.
The question has already been answered, but I found it because one of the few Twitter accounts I still read shared it.
This isn’t really about Elmo himself so much as it’s a byproduct of his mania, but I thought I’d share this screenshot of a Facebook friend request I received just a few minutes ago (roughly 1:30 AM Pacific Time, the normal time of day to be making friendly advances to a stranger);
I’ve been throwing out double entendres to beat the band and that’s the one you noticed? Hmmm.
Hey how about that. Musky has explicitly whitelisted offensive slurs for a select group of elite users.
All animals are equal…
You know Elmo, this “trans” stuff may not be a virus. Perhaps it’s your chromosomes and genes that are defective or damaged by all the ketamine you mainline? Maybe get tested?
His daughter responded on Threads. I don’t have access, but this person has cut/pasted it into Twitter.
Am I reading the dope or am I reading r/MurderedByWords? Because goddamn…
Somehow the revelation that Elmo is the kind of dad who would mock or belittle his own children for “acting like a sissy” does not shock me at all.
Nobody is on Twitter but Nazis and transphobes.
Delete your fucking accounts.
Stop enabling Elmo.
Which of those is this guy?
Also, it was a Bluesky link, genius.
The literature discussion group I interact with - do you think they’re Nazis, or transphobes? Both maybe?
But I like arguing with Nazis and transphobes on Twitter. It hinders them from believing that their views are intrinsically correct, and lets me try out a number of creative new insults.
My guess is that the comment wasn’t about your specific quote, but about what the quote was talking about; that RWNJs are whitelisted and allowed to do anything they want. Not that the person from Bluesky reporting on that fact is a Nazi or transphobe.
Obviously, the comment that only Nazis and transphobes are on Twitter is bullshit. You could say that those people are more welcome than ever on the platform, though, and you’d probably be accurate.
That Bluesky link from earlier has been taken down, but I happen to have a picture from another source.
FYI for anyone still using Twitter - make sure to go to your settings and opt out of allowing Elmo to use your tweets to train his plagiarism machine.
I mean, as often as I shitpost about Elmo, I think that’s okay, maybe even desirable.
