Yeah, cocaine is a big posibility. Aside from cannabis. He’s not a stable™ person.
That Reddit thread is rich in entertainment, but one of my favorite responses:
Don’t ever dump the juice from sardine cans onto the windshield and into the air vents. The oil makes it incredibly difficult to wash off of glass, and the smell bakes into the vents so that every time defrost turns on, the car smells a bit fishy.
Teen Vogue (which, surprisingly, is one of the few media outlets doing real journalism about the current admin without trying to suck up to Trump or create false both-sides-isms) has an interview with Elmo’s estranged daughter as the cover story of their latest issue.
The medical professional from you’re Priory link wrote:
As ketamine leaves the body, the craving for the drug becomes more intense. This means that people need to take more in order to achieve the desired effects[.]
I think Scud knows more about drugs than whoever wrote that.
The Green Hill Recovery link says:
Reasearchers report few cases of ketamine dependence, but they do occur with prolonged, repeated use.
It’s also not clear whether it’s safe to use over prolonged periods.
Physical or psychological dependence on ketamine is rare but can happen.
None of that contradicts what Scud said.
Now back to whatever this thread is about.
One who wants to have little to do with him and feels he should go play by himself.
Surstromming would be even better.
As opposed to Kraft singles (nice of the prankster to spend the extra bucks for name brand), sardine juice in the vents probably crosses over into vandalism.
Hah! I was thinking the same thought. It’s one of the first things I thought of after opening up a can about fifteen years ago – if there were somebody I hated, I would dump this stuff in heating vents. You’d have to mail order it from Sweden, but it would be oh so worth it – it’s just a couple orders of magnitude stronger than herring or any other fish you could get here.
Normally this would just be Musk being Musk, but I think he’s establishing US policy here.
What am I missing here? Isn’t flatly buying votes illegal by federal law if not by state?
About eleven years ago, there was a fire,
He is not buying votes, he is buying signatures on a petition in hopes that those people will then vote the way he wants them to. It’s hard to say how well that works but probably does make a difference in an election.
He’s still telling people what to think. Setting the agenda. And handing out dollars, which tends to be persuasive.
What I think is interesting is how little he’s paying compared to vote buying in poorer countries. If he was paying at PPP, it’d probably be more like $1,000 / vote. IOW, Loser elon is a cheapskate and he thinks Americans are too stupid / naïve to demand a reasonable price for committing voting fraud. And he’s probably right.
Possibly the $100 dollar price avoids triggering a legal threshold?
…I think Elmo just threatened to kill his daughter.
Perhaps if she’d changed her name to Xixian he’d be happier.
If there are elections in 2026, there will be these sorts of things happening all over the country and they will most likely influence the outcomes. Just another cheap way for Elon to keep up the payments on the country he bought.
Possibly.
But at the rate Tesla stock is going, he might have several of his loans called (as it happens, liquidity is an issue when the overwhelming majority of your value is tied up in stock!), and that could be a problem, since the only reason anybody (including his new best bud Donnie) can barely stand to be around him is his wealth.
When that’s gone, or at least threatened, how will he ever get anybody to tell him he’s actually a cool guy and they really like hanging around with him for his intellect and personality and not the money?
