Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 2)

The people who voted for this stuff never paid the slightest attention to what we did elsewhere. So they had no learning opportunity. Or at least they comprehensively turned their nose up at even trying to learn from it.

And in fact are trying to outlaw any teaching of history that does not affirm that America is the bestest and nicest country that ever existed that never did anything nefarious. Only they don’t know the word “nefarious”.

Sure they do. They just pronounce it “trump”.

To be fair, the people who voted against it are still, overwhelmingly, in the bag for populism and opposed to any measures that would reduce it. It’s very difficult to look at Latin America, during the Cold War era, and come out in support of populism on an evidentiary basis.

“Bro, I’m not mad that I wasted millions trying to buy an election bro, I lost on purpose bro”

You have to understand that Musk grew up playing Apartheid chess. Not only does white go first but black has only pawns and their pieces arent free to move without permission.

That’s fucking funny.

Eloon, the child, so confused. I’d make a haiku if I had talent.

Germany is now financing Ukraine’s access to one of Starlink’s competitors.

Ceterum, TSLA delenda est.

As I’ve said before, if you’re going to pee in the pool, don’t do it from the diving board.

All billionaires meddle in politics. Musk is finding out whey they usually don’t meddle so openly.

To quote a Captain Kirk line from TOS:

Who’s interferin’? We’re takin’ over.

Musk fully intends to rule the world, or at least the USA. Maybe own it all, but certainly rule it all. Hard to do that clandestinely.

Yeah, there’s a good reason why you don’t see, say, the CEOs of McDonalds or Walmart openly stumping for candidates or publicly pushing their pet political causes. Not that those companies don’t exercise a good deal of political influence, or spend massive amounts of money on lobbying, but they do so behind the scenes and in a way that won’t alienate a huge number of their customers. And I certainly can’t see those guys, or most any executive from a Fortune 500 company, throwing up a Nazi salute.

Prior to 2024 environmentally conscious liberals were a big part of Tesla’s customer base. Now many of those folks wouldn’t touch a Tesla with a million-foot pole. And, as I mentioned in one of the other threads, I can’t see too many conservatives (who’ve been conditioned to despise EVs, due in no small part to people like Trump having spent years trashing them) choosing to buy a Tesla instead of a big ass coal rolling pick up truck when it comes time to get a new vehicle.

What? You never heard of the iIlluminati?

Behind the throne is where the real power players sit. But it doesn’t do much for his insatiable need for adoration.

I understand they recently reorganized themselves as the Ancient and Mystic Society of No Elons, then recruited Elon Glumplick because they’re allowed to have one.

Meanwhile, the world’s richest man and de facto president is watching TV at midnight on a Saturday and whining that the people on it are making fun of him.

Tesler is refusing to take swastikars as trade-ins.
