I agree to a certain extent, but a disassociative like Ket is extremely different to hallucinogens LSD ( lysergic acid diethylamide) or DMT (Dimethyltriptamine)
LSD, and much of the MDMA family have also been trialed in small doses as a curative regimen. Ketamine, too, mostly for depression.
As someone who has reasonably well explored those families of chemicals, and also Ketamine, I give you my amateur opinion…
