Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 2)

That critter is strangely alarming. But very skillfully rendered. Mad props to your AI art skillz.

If you try again but use a star-nosed mole as the baseline animal I suggest you spoiler the resulting pic.

That must be one of the Pokemon they don’t bother to include in the cartoons.

I’m feeling squeasy :face_vomiting:

This is exaggerated - Musk gets a lot of credit for Tesla’s success, he didn’t wake up one morning with the idea for an electric car.

AFAICT none of Musk’s thoughts about ‘’‘breakthrough, never contemplated before, technology’‘’ isn’t at least 100 years old.

Yeah, he helped take it from a boutique operation to a segment leader. Pretty impressive but not really “from scratch”. One wishes he were still finding those sorts of things to keep him occupied

He must have missed the bit where the Culture are all very Left Anarchists…

Unlike other groups who have taken direct action against Tesla vehicles and showrooms: our team, People who hate Devious, Odious, Greedy, Elon took some of his children.
Two problems:

  1. He didn’t notice.
  2. The kids refused to go back citing extreme indifference.

When Elon says he likes science fiction, I think he means the book covers.

  • Tesla may face investigation after four stores in Canada snapped up $43 million in EV rebates in a single weekend
  • The suspicious activity happened immediately after it was announced the federal iZEV program would soon be paused
  • One Tesla store claimed 2,558 sales in a single Saturday—that’d be 70 people working 12 hours straight selling cars

Covfefe is for closers!

They were all bought by ElonCo. And will all be returned next Tuesday.

…for a hamburger today…

Elmo sez Hitler did nothing wrong.

Well no, he isn’t saying that. But he is reposting a repost of someone who is shifting the blame away from brutal dictators to their underlings (which is reprehensible enough). The commentary from your own cite is:

MAGA Billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter), is facing criticism after amplifying a tweet that downplays the responsibility of historical dictators in mass killings.

Another Tesla set on fire in Seattle. We’re getting into propaganda of the deed territory here.

It should be noted that this was a theme of Holocaust denialists for a while during the 90s - that Hitler may have hated the Jews but he didn’t want to kill them, and instead the people who worked for him “took it too far” in a sense.

Utterly refuted by the historical record, of course, but that didn’t stop it from being promulgated by certain unsavory folks.

Also, 4 more set on fire in Berlin:

I’m happy to settle for pointing and laughing at anyone driving one, especially a cybertruck.

“If only Comrade Stalin Der Fuehrer knew!”

The ability of some people to shut out reality continues to amaze me.

Burning up a parked Tesla is a real lousy way to hurt elmo, as opposed to hurting the car’s owner.

It also hands the Fascists a ready-made reason to launch radical violent policing to stop this hooliganism that’s spreading like, well a EV fire.

If public sector workers were the real driving force behind the Holocaust, maybe Elon should consider being a bit nicer to them.
