Nope. He wanted a boy, was convinced she was going to be a boy, only chose one name and refused to change it when she was a girl.
Did anyone here have James Randi pegged? In retrospect something about it seems obvious but it never occurred to me to wonder.
He may claim to be gay, but obviously we shouldn’t accept that claim until it has been rigorously tested.

I can’t imagine anybody on Earth is skeptical and curious enough to try and prove or disprove his statement.
(Plus he’s 5 feet tall and over 80; anything too rigorous and he’ll be dead.)
Tom Cruise is a hard one. I never had any gadar about him in any of his movies. Even when the rumors were so countless I STILL didn’t really get it. (In fact everything I ever read about the beginning of he and Nichole’s courtship sounded like major love/lust -even more so on his part)
I finally talked to a woman that had been in the movie business, and she was very low-key, not a “gossip” or a bragging “look-at-all-the-people-I-know” sort of person. She very matter of factly said she knew for sure as TC had hooked up with her cousin (in the bathroom!) on one of their shoots.
The main reason nobody is ever going to post pics., or make public any of these affairs is because TC has the Church of Scientology and all their billions behind him. This is a corporation (cult) that tied up the IRS for gods sake in years of litigation, and finally WON! Seriously scary stuff. Lots of documented examples of the COS ruining the reputation and harassing anyone that speaks out against them (reporters, writers, etc.)
After I saw Keith Hamilton Cobb (Tyr from Andromeda) I got a certain vibe. And then he had a stint on Noah’s Arc with some gay love scenes so now that vibe is stronger (not that straight actors can’t play gay). Haven’t seen him in anything lately…

Sampiro, where do you get the idea that James Randi is 5’? According to websites I’ve checked, he’s 5’6". I’ve met him. Given that I’m 4’11", I would have noticed if he was that close to me in height.
How about Quentin Tarantino? Never married, no kids, no big love affairs. He could be a total movie-making geek to the exclusion of all else, but the thought did occur to me.

When I lived on Crescent Heights Blvd. at the corner of Fountain in West Hollywood, there was a guy who lived two doors down in a small apartment building (two or three units) and we would always nod and say hello whenever we would see each other on the street. It wasn’t until Pulp Fiction came out that I saw on television an interview and a guy was introduced as Quentin Tarantino, director of Pulp Fiction and I thought, “OMG, that is the guy from two doors down!”
Sure enough - Quentin had been my neighbor for all those years.
However, during that time I would ALWAYS see him with some new female friend - getting out of a taxi or just go out to the car. I don’t think I ever saw him with another guy.
So no - I have no inside scoop other than to say if he really were Gay - and he lived next to me in the heart of Gay West Hollywood - I would think I might have seen him with a guy at least once over the years. He continued to live in that small apartment for several years, even with his fame and money - but still, would only see limos pull up and Quentin and some lovely young lass entering or exiting the limo from/to the apartment. Just my casual observation, but I seriously doubt he is Gay.
No big love affairs? He was with Mira Sorvino for two years, and he also dated Uma Thurman, Vivica A. Fox, Sofia Coppola and Tilda Swinton, among others.
