Now THAT's a gun vault!

How did you get a picture of Silenus’ gun vault?

There needs to be a new Godwin’s Law-style law about how whenever there’s a thread about guns, trucks, or other manly things, someone will inevitably make a penis-size-compensating reference.

That was my first thought too.

It kind of misses a few items though: a bunch of dynamite sticks tied together with an alarm clock on top, a selection of brass knucles, an amber bottle with a skull and crossbones sticker, a slingshot, a rubber duck and a tactical thermonuclear device…

I think the tactical nuclear device is that box below the flame thrower…
Someone get me a PRN-5 w/SPA-3 detector, I’ll find it!

I wonder what is worth more, the guns or the plane in the front yard?

What type of plane is that anyway, its’ a beaut.

Looks like a Mitsubishi MU-2 to me. Which leads me to point out that if you´re going to have a Mitsubishi plane on your front yard you better paint some meatbals on it.

Generic doctor killer.

Is that a honest to god Gatling there?

Love what he’s done with the place.

In the third picture: Are those flamethrowers on the wall above the couch?

You think he feels comfortable expressing his opinions in there?

Almost certainly the guns. Just the AKs, M-16s, BARs Tommy guns and other small arms are going to retail for between $500 and $2000 apiece. The Barretts probably closer to $5k-$10k. He’s got at least 100 weapons hanging there on the walls, not to mention the AA Cannon sitting in the middle of the floor.
Figure in the cost of the ammo you’d need to have to supply all those weapons, and the exorbitant price of a flamethrower, ack-ack, et cetera, I bet it’s worth half a mil, easy.

Plane’s worth half a mil, though. That’s a pressurized twin-turboprop, would cost close to a mil if it’s in good condition and well-equipped (link).

Water-jacketed European machine gun, maybe?

No Gatling, but there is a M1917A1. The wheeled machine gun appears to be a Vickers.

Agreed that the guns are more expensive, but you are drastically underestimating some of those prices. Assuming that they are transferrable (ie not dealer-only samples) and full-auto (not look-alikes), the Thompsons would go for $15-25,000 each (examples here, here), the BARs for $25,000+ (here), and the M1919s for $15-20,000 (eg here). I also see some guns in .30 Carbine; if they are M2’s rather than M1’s they would go for $10,000 or so; some with the AR-15’s/M-16’s if they are automatic. As a WAG, I’d say the value of the guns there is easily greater than $1,000,000; probably more like $5 million.

The reason all these guns are so expensive is because of limited supply; since 1986 no new machine guns (as defined by the 1934 National Firearms Act) can be registered, leading to greatly increased prices.

It’s like the Greenbriar Resort, but for the Generals.

Still, all those guns and they’ve yet to shoot that purple couch?

Looks like he has a little indoor range too. Cool as shit!
