Basically, they’re taking a crusty old aircraft hangar and turning it into a giant camera obscura. The resulting photograph will be about 60x100 feet.

That is really cool!
I was expecting something more like the Gigapixel project, but turning a whole hangar into an old-school camera is awesome!
How long before I can have one of those? I want a portable model!

The article in today’s paper said that the 33 x 110 foot image will be made from the world’s largest disposable camera.
Once the photo project is done, the hangar will be demolished.
