Have you guys never seen Helen Mirren in “The Cook, The Theif, His Wife, and Her Lover”? She’s not a young woman in that film, and she spends a HUGE portion of it TOTALLY naked.
Helen Mirren has done more nude scenes than most. Not so much an unexpected nude scene, but the scenes in ‘Sirens’ with its super-model cast are quite memorable.
Not that she’s a bad actress/person but here’s one to make you shudder.
Shelley Duvall in the Robert Altman film, Thieves Like Us. I was forced to watch this in a film class. She’s naked in a bath for several minutes. There was much hooting and cheering when she finally put her clothes back on.
Marina Sirtis (the future Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Deanna Troi) gets naked, tied up and killed (!) in Blind Date (which also has a flash or two of Kirstie Alley, another Star Trek actress), and is not to be confused with the lightweight Bruce Willis/Kim Basinger comedy of the same name that came out a few years later.

What the hell is that all about? You don’t drop a bomb like “Maura Tierney did a nude scene” and then just casually say “I forget which film.” Which film, dammit? For the love of God, which film?!?

I saw Primary Colors, and while Maura was in bed for a love scene, I didn’t really see anything more than some naked arms and shoulders.
Try Dead Women in Lingerie…if you can find it…for Maura Tierney.
Perhaps the better question is did she ever do a scene in which she wasn’t nude.

I suspect the young Helen Mirren movie alluded to earlier is The Age of Consent, her first. Pure soft-core, but my god what a bod. As I read somewhere once, the kind of body that drives novitiate monks to suicide.
