I went to Disney World in '97 with my AP Phyisics class and it was one of the best times I’ve ever had. There is so much stuff to do for all kinds of ages, I don’t know how you can’t like it. I had to do all kinds of physics stuff there and it was still so damn fun!!
I am fortunate that my husband, after years of intensive treatment, finally realizes the futility of dragging young children to an amusement park. When they are old enough to be dropped at the front gate, (25), is when and not a moment sooner, shall I step inside the park.
I just don’t see the appeal of standing in line behind a fat smelly couple from North Dakota listening to them complain about hot it is and how much everything costs.
I’d rather go to an art museum.

I have to join the growing ranks of Disney World supporters. My wife and I went a few years ago and had a great time. Granted, we didn’t have kids to deal with, but we learned adults can have fun there too.
Getting to the parks early (if you’re staying in a Disney hotel) is a big help. It’s amazing how much you can get done in an hour when it is not so crowded.
Since you mentioned beer (a couple of times I think), you should know the most rocking place in the entire DW empire: the pub in England in Epcot. That place is great. Stop in and have a black & tan for me.
