Numerical list help please

I’m currently making an active version of the Recipe Thread Index. I enter one page worth of the threads recipe posts at a time in to the index thread. In the first page I set the list to start at “1” using the command:
[sup]
(all brackets are replaced with { } brackets in these examples)[/sup]

{list=1}

The first 24 recipes were enumerated perfectly.

When I was preparing the second page for preview I wanted the next page of the index to start with recipe number 25. I used this command.

{list=25}

All that happened is that the actual text of the command was displayed and the bullets (typed like this):

{*}

ended up displaying the usual dots prior to the line. I tried resetting the list to zero using:

{list=0}
{list=25}

hoping that the list function would re-engage at the number 25, but no such luck.

Anyway, a little help?

Sorry, Zenster, I think you’re out of luck.

vB is translating things into html from their home-made codes, and
their instructions only show** [**list=1] **and **
[**list=B]doesn’t work either, although

[**list=A]does work:
[li]does work[/li]

Happy 2000! I must have missed that thread. I’ll go look for it.
Did we get pictures from SeaDiver yet on our Berkeley Dopefest? (I guess that has to wait until she’s back from Mexico?)
Too bad the other ones didn’t come out from the Dopefest you threw in Pleasanton.

I did see the index page, and it looks great.
Maybe you can start over from 1?
Or I guess you could just hand-code in all the digits.
Have fun either way!

Jeez, just like a bit pusher to say that!]

Hey tshirts, glad for the hijack.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear…

You are coming to the SD Superbowl party, right?

<too lazy to check my entire thread for your reply>

I’ll post my sig so that you have the link. Hope you can make it.
