I want to get on a plane and fly to NY, for many reasons. I want to show, in ky small way I am not afraid to fly. I want to meet the NY Dopers. I want to be in the city for support. Roundtrip flights from LA to NY are only $258 for next weekend (Sept27 - 30). Should I come?
Sure. Bring lots and lots of money.
Plan to stock up on little ceramic Statue of Liberties, snow-globes with the Empire State Building in them, and “I Heart NY” tee shirts.
(The mayor says so.)
