I’m sure it’s explained in the article that they mean people MEETING through these places, but I find it pretty funny that they omit that minor detail from the short summary on the “please log in” page here :smack:
I took it to mean that the NEWS was spread through the internet, and not the virus itself.
I got that afterwards as well but my first thought was they were saying the virus was being spread by people meeting through those means and neglected to mention the “meeting” part.
Ok maybe not as funny as I thought. Damn.
