I know, I know. I should be dragged out into the street and shot for admitting to watching. And for admitting to watching Real Housewives of New Jersey. (Especially for that last one.)
Is anyone watching NYC Prep, though? Who do we want to kill the most? Sebastian? PC (the name alone!)? Jessie?
Ok. I will admit to it. This is turning into a totally guilty GUILTY pleasure for me. I have watched both episodes so far and after what was implied in the teaser at the end of this week’s episode for next week I know I will be giving it another week…at least.
I saw about 15 minutes worth the other night. Except for the guy with the ridiculous beard, the kids all look 14 instead of 17. Maybe I’m just used to scripted high-school shows where the actors are actually in their late 20s.
What’s up with the guy being named “PC”? I keep waiting for him to greet someone by saying, “hey, Mac.”
Yes, I’ve seen it, sort of. I just want to smack each of them in the head. I think I dislike Jessie the most. PC knows he’s playing a role and Sebastian is so transparent that he’s comical. Jessie is just a bitch, plain and simple.
I think it might be a bit much even for me to continue watching. I was watching it this week and couldn’t get into it, even as a guilty pleasure. I just want all of them to stop talking so bad, it hurts.
Having worked at a prep school in Switzerland, I was kind of interested in seeing this.
Watched the first episode and doubt I will watch another.
They just seemed “too aware” of the camera.
I know - that is typical of most reality shows - but in this case, it seemed like the camera was the only reason for them to even interact with each other.
I might look at the second episode (I DVR’d the series) before dropping it from my list, but so far, not so good.
