How do the Obits on the NYT websites (www.nytimes.com) work? I’m registered, but all I seem to find are the obituaries of notable people. Do no common folk die in NYC, or are the rest of those who pass away found only in the print version?

The New York Times isn’t really a local NYC paper. It has local sections devoted to the various markets it serves all over the country, but it is an international paper in scope. I don’t think it publishes local obituaries on the website.
Where could I find obituaries for Manhattan?
I hope this helps somewhat. They all seem to have obituaries for NYC residents, and I assume that would include Manhattan residents.
