NYU Stern and Cornell Alumni / Students?

I’m trying to decide between the two, and I want to ask a couple of questions. I’m leaning towards business or law, but I feel like I may regret choosing Stern if I want to change my major later. As of now I go to school in NYC…

One of my basic concerns is that I won’t get the full college experience with a huge campus life and everything at Stern, but if I do choose Stern, it is possible that I can make more connections with alumni, and in the city in general. It seems to me that Ithaca would offer less opportunity for being able to intern for prominent figures (like the mayor, etc.).

Some questions:

  1. Whichever of the two you’ve gone to, how is/was your experience?
  2. Is there no real campus life at NYU?
  3. How do these schools compare in terms of academic integrity / rankings in terms of going to graduate school later (which is considered the better school assuming I major in the same area)?

I’ll probably have many more questions but these came to mind. Hopefully they’ll help me to decide.
