Sounds like one of the relatively recent laws that were passed to prevent cops from arresting people in domestic disputes according to their prejudices. I recall how the feminists pushed for those laws, and then got all outraged that the result was many more women being arrested because it was the female perpetrators the cops had been ignoring.
Everything you wrote was so totally incorrect on every level. I would laugh if I thought you were joking. But you are obviously not. So call it stupidity. Or call it willful ignorance. Whatever.
The most annoying thing about the reaction to the trial is the idea that instead of a finding on the evidence of the case that the trial shows us how society as a whole feels about certain groups of people. The Zimmerman verdict does not mean that any hispanic can shoot any young black man. The OJ trial did not mean that it was open season on blond white women and waiters. The Blake verdict does not mean that society thinks its okay to kill your wife and the Casey Anthony verdict does not mean that society thinks young girls are disposable.
Anyone familiar with the facts of the case and the law can see that the jury came to the correct conclusion under the law. Nothing less and nothing more.
I’m not making excuses when I say I honestly have no idea what you’re trying to say here.
Damn.
I may have to rethink that trophy room.
Prove it. If I’m so utterly wrong you ought to be able to do that, instead of throwing out baseless insults.
It wasn’t baseless.
And don’t move the goalposts. You made the assertions about the way things work. It’s up to you to prove them.
To me, the OJ Simpson trial showed what a hopeless mess the American Jury Trial has become. You start out with ignorant jurors, throw in a “dream team” of 8 lawyers, and a year long “trial” in which everything BUT the alleged guilt of the defendant is discussed, and yo have it. Judge Ito allowed the defense to pt the LAPD on trial, not OJ-in the midst of all that went on, OJ was largely forgotten
I think BS needs to be called on this without a cite.
According to this in Canada interracial couples are more likely to be arrested for domestic violence.
According to thisstudy in the city studied interracial couples were more likely to be arrested for domestic violence when the police were summoned.
Thispaper is almost thirty years old but it shows from 1976 to 1985 the murder rates in interracial couples were 7.7 times higher than average.
Overall it seems that murders used to be more common in interracial couples but arrest rates are now comparable.
Here you go.
Because I had never heard anyone make the claims you did was curious whether there was anything to them. I did a quick google search and came up with the following.

We can argue about the reasons for this, but it appears the claim that the police don’t make arrests in the case of inter-racial couples is false, unless you have evidence to the contrary.
In addition to his “Dream Team” of lawyers, O.J.'s fame helped toward his acquittal in other ways. The change of venue was crucial to jury selection. And don’t forget Marcia’s opening remarks for the prosecution “Of course nobody wants to convict this wonderful man” or some such. :smack:
Correct. I just skimmed the GZ threads and learned this, though the “proofs” there, for dramatic variety, started with a black who’d been wrongly convicted. :dubious:
Congratulations! I’m unable to deduce what point you’re trying to articulate, if any, but am pretty sure that whatever it is, it’s wrong. Constructing a post with such a property is an art form!
